The Plateau modern lounge chair by Danish furniture manufacturer Engelbrechts is a really cool new chair design by Erik Magnussen that’s as hot to look at, as it is to sit in. Named for its unusual, organic shape, the Plateau lounge chair features sensual soft curves and a chic, asymmetrical form with a single armrest that doubles as a drink stand and is even wide enough to rest your laptop. Available with elegant leather or fabric upholstery, this modern lounge is 120cm high and boasts a high-polish aluminum base, with or without automatic swivel return. Ideal for the contemporary living room, bedroom, foyer, library or lounge, this chair retails for approximately $4,091 in textile and $5,969 in leather. To check it out, visit Engelbrechts.
